Kat is a beloved member of the Houston foster team. She has fostered over 6 dogs in the last two years and "treats them with patience, kindness, and gives an unconditional amount of love."

She has seen some of the most challenging dogs in rescue and has never turned one away. Kat believes it's an honor to be part of their happily ever after. She also foster failed (adopted) Bowie, now Dobby.

Kat says, "We are the voice for animals. We have to advocate for them because they can’t do so for themselves. We’ve had multiple pups that would not have made it if DDR didn’t intervene."
