What is North Texas Giving Day?
North Texas Giving Day is an annual online giving event organized by the Communities Foundation of Texas designed to empower community members to support local nonprofits.
It takes place on September 18th and provides a platform for donors to contribute to a wide range of participating charities. The event aims to boost fundraising for nonprofits, increase community engagement, and raise awareness about various causes in the North Texas region.
What is a Doodle Romp?
A fun, carefree, social event for our community of dog lovers to gather with their pups with the goal of fundraising to meet our North Texas Giving Day matched funds goal. It is the biggest and most important Doodle Dandy Rescue fundraiser for the entire year.

This year we're excited to announce our first ever North Texas Giving Day 'Launch Pawty' at Chicken N Pickle in Allen, Texas. Join us for some tasty food, happy hour, game of pickleball, opportunity to Meet & Greet some of our available doodles, and more!:dog: Chicken N Pickle will donate a percentage of all proceeds to Doodle Dandy Rescue!

Our Annual Doodle Romp will offer something for everyone, so bring the entire family! There's dedicated space for an off-leash romp, a children's play area, fine dining available, and don't forget to take advantage of being at a brewery! At 7pm, leashes go back on for a 90's cover band called The Flannel Pajamas!

Join Doodle Dandy Rescue for our Annual Fundraiser!:feet: Sniffs, Sips & Tail Wags Sept 14, 6–9 PM at The Watering Bowl. Watering Bowl will offer Doodle Dandy a $1 donation on selected drinks! Be sure you enter our raffle for some pup-tastic prizes, too!!

Paws for the cause, San Antonio! Join us at Chicken N Pickle for Doodle Dandy's Romp Fundraiser! Meet adoptable Doods, win fun prizes, and more! We'll be raising money for our doods, so be sure to purchase raffle tickets for some amazing prizes (more to come)! We'll have some of our available foster pups in attendance at all our events for Meet & Greet opportunities.
If you want to find out more about fostering, volunteering, or adopting, we'll have several of our volunteers on site for you to speak with! Your pups will surely give this ulti-mutt event two paws up!
