It's time to make a list of things to do over the upcoming weekends with your "One and Only" (Doodle of course)!
Start Your weekend Morning in a Cafe or Bakery!
If you’re the kind of “pawrent” who needs some caffeine to keep up with your pup, I've got you covered. If a perfect morning includes a pastry and coffee, then you'll love exploring the dog-friendly bakeries and cafes in Dallas.
The Lucky Dog Barkery
It’s your dog's dream come true! The Lucky Dog Barkery offers everything from cupcakes to chicken treats and stews — all created just for dogs! There's even a selection of toys, collars, and dog clothing if your pup needs a new look. While this isn't a sit-down place, it's still a must-visit for you and your Doodle.

La La Land Kind Café.
With three locations around Dallas, this bright and cheerful chain is more than just a coffee shop. The company was set up to empower foster children through employment and "normalizing kindness" is the mantra here. Not only is their food and coffee top-notch, but you won't find a more welcoming spot in Dallas.
Spend the Day at the Park
After you've fed yourself and your Doodle, it's time to get some exercise and burn off that excess energy! Dallas is full of beautiful parks and trails to explore, so there’s plenty of open space for your pup to run around. From urban green spaces to lakeside nature trails, you won’t run out of outdoor dog-friendly activities for you and your “one and only” around the city.
Klyde Warren Park
This stunning park in the center of Dallas welcomes over one million visitors per year. Built on top of a freeway, the creators of this green space wanted to establish a gathering space for Dallas residents. A massive success, this spot is buzzing with life all day long. From food trucks and restaurants to a fountain and a playground! It's dog-friendly and full of good vibes, so it's an excellent choice to meet a new friend for you and a few for your pup!
Cedar Hill State Park
Cedar Hill Park is home to over 1,800 acres of land and a 7,500-acre lake, which includes a beach! It’s the perfect spot for you and your Doodle to have a splash and enjoy other dog-friendly activities.
Lake Tawakoni State Park
Located 50 miles east of Dallas, this park is a little further away than the other two but is well worth the trip. So, if you're planning a dog-friendly day trip from Dallas, then Lake Tawakoni State Park is a great choice. It has fishing, swimming, boating, and camping for you and your pup to enjoy to your heart’s content.
