Choosing the Right Temperature for Your Doodle and Their Furry Friends Walks!
While Doodles love outdoor adventures, it’s essential to gauge the right temperature to keep them safe. Heat can be deceiving—what feels manageable for humans might be uncomfortable or even dangerous for pups!

Quick Temperature Guide for Dog Walks:
• Below 75°F (24°C): Ideal walking conditions—your pup can enjoy a stroll without overheating.
• 75–85°F (24–29°C): Caution zone—keep walks shorter, stick to shade, and ensure hydration.
• 85–90°F (29–32°C): Risky territory—pavement can burn paw pads, and overheating becomes more likely. Walks should be brief, preferably in the early morning or evening.
• Above 90°F (32°C): Dangerous—avoid walks unless necessary. Opt for indoor playtime instead.
The Pavement Test: Before heading out, press the back of your hand against the pavement for about 7 seconds. If it’s too hot for your skin, it’s too hot for your pup’s paws!
Weather Considerations:
• Humidity: High humidity makes it harder for dogs to cool down through panting, so monitor moisture levels.
• Breed Sensitivity: Doodles may struggle more in heat due to their coat type. Long-haired pups need extra precautions compared to short-haired breeds.
• Age & Health: Puppies, senior dogs, and those with health conditions are more prone to heat-related stress.
By checking temperatures and being mindful of conditions, you can ensure every walk is safe and enjoyable for your furry friend!
