Reach for the sky, pardner—Woody’s the golden doodle hero you’ve been waitin’ for—a 100% good boy! Fresh off bilateral TPLO surgery on 8/20/25, this nine-weeks-post-op cowboy is on the mend with PT, daily strolls up to 25 minutes, and a few more months of light duty till he’s gallopin’ full-tilt again—full recovery might take a year, but he’s trottin’ faster every day. He’s never learned to jump (no couches, no trucks, no stairs), so he’s safe as Andy’s room; leave him loose or pen him, no crate needed, no separation anxiety, just a quiet shadow who’ll curl on a rug or nuzzle for belly rubs till your heart’s content. Woody loves every soul—people, pups, the whole toy box—but he’s a Mama’s Boy through and through, wigglin’ his whole backside like a happy sheriff’s badge when you walk in the door. Mostly chill with bursts of play, he’ll thrive as the only dog or with gentle pals, around kids or adults, long as his new Buzz Lightyear takes rehab seriously: walks, PT, diet, and no rowdy playmates knockin’ him off his horse. This unassuming gentle giant leans in for hugs, gives love double what he asks, and quietly fills every room with loyalty. To infinity and beyond, Woody’s ready for a forever friend who’ll help him ride tall again—yee-haw, there’s a new sheriff in town, and his name is love.

Woody’s adoption fee is $500. He is HW negative, current on all vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Woody a second chance.
