Ideal Home

• Ricco arrived at DDR with severe separation anxiety, one of the most serious cases we’ve seen. With his fosters’ incredible patience and consistency, he has made excellent progress. However, right now, his maximum “alone time” is 1 hour.

• He needs adopters who have someone home consistently. For the time being, he will need a trusted pet-sitter if alone for long.

• He has enjoyed the companionship of his foster family’s dogs and would benefit from a fur-buddy or two.

• His ideal people will continue Ricco's crate training and patiently build his confidence that they will always come back and that he is safe when his family is gone.

Personality

• Ricco packs so much love into a compact package. Once he decides you are his person, his adoration is unmatched!

• He is super smart and obedient, and not destructive.

• He’s a gorgeous little chonk of sweetness! His coat looks frosted, and he’s only about knee-high.

• Ricco loves to play fetch and is an excellent walker. He enjoys outings with his foster-sibs, but his favorite pastime is chilling indoors (maybe with a chew toy).

Are You Right for Ricco?
Ricco’s adoption fee is $550. He is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Ricco a second chance.
