Poppy – Small Size, Big Sparkle:

Poppy is a 4.5-year-old, 30-pound mini Sheepadoodle with a heart full of joy and a head full of tricks. She’s incredibly well-trained and has an entire page of commands she knows—from basics like “sit” and “lay” to adorable party tricks like “roll over” and “turtle” (you have to see her kick her feet in the air—it’s precious!). Poppy lives for structure. She thrives in a home where meals, playtime, and snuggles follow a predictable rhythm. She’ll politely sit and wait for permission to eat, or to be invited onto the couch—she just needs a calm, confident owner to help her stay balanced. 

Poppy’s dream life includes being your sidekick—she loves car rides, errands, and anywhere dogs are welcome. She’d do best as the only pup in the home so she can soak up all the affection, but she still wants to play with dog friends regularly. She gets along well with other dogs (no cats, please!) but prefers to be the only one in line for pets. Poppy also has allergies, which are beautifully managed with daily meds, prescription food, and a weekly spa routine—she’s an angel for her medicated baths and nightly paw massages. Caring for her feels more like bonding time than medical care. And yes—Poppy is a talker. She’s expressive, alert, and not shy about letting you know how she feels. She brings a spark of personality to every moment and will fill your home with laughter and love.

Poppy’s adoption fee is $500. She is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and flea/heartworm preventatives. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Poppy a second chance.
