Ideal Home

• Pecas was surrendered to DDR after his person passed away. He is waiting for a special adopter, who will give him space and patience to adjust to his new home and people.

• While he enjoys a romp in the yard or a good walk, given time, he’s also delighted to snuggle up on the sofa.

• He is best suited for an experienced adult adopter or family with older teens, who can understand his signals when he needs space.

• Continued training and positive reinforcement are crucial as he settles into a new environment.

Personality

• Pecas is sweet, snuggly, and super-smart!  He is food-motivated and a quick study.

• He loves having time with his people. He has done well with chill fur-buddies in his foster home, but would love to be your one-and-only!

• He can’t talk, but manages to communicate very clearly! Between his body language and “grumbles,” he won't make you guess if things are not to his liking.

• He tends to remove himself from the situation if he becomes uncomfortable, so adopters who can read and respect his boundaries are best.

Pecas’s adoption fee is $650.  He is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Pecas a second chance.
