Hazelnut Hopes for a Home that is:

• Available—Hazel enjoys her daily walks and cuddle time. She is an eager learner and quite smart. She can’t wait to be part of your daily routine.

• Patient—Given time to adjust and feel secure, Hazel is as loving, loyal, and affectionate as dogs twice her size.

• Peaceful—Hazel loves her family and home. She's determined to protect them.

• Dedicated—Hazel needs to continue working on her people-skills and prefers a spot away from the action when unfamiliar visitors stop by. She also takes daily medication for allergies.

The Greatest of these is Love:

Hazelnut is ready to find her forever. She’s been perfecting all of her “best friend” skills. She’s mastered “waiting at the shower door” and “protecting the home.” She can’t wait to show off her playful side with a rowdy toy session or wrestling with a canine pal. Treats? Yes, please. Then, she will plop in the middle of her family to soak up ALL of the love. The world can feel really big when you’re a little dog, so Hazel is still working on overcoming her concerns with strangers and delivery drivers—those guys look suspicious. She is determined to make her opinions heard. Her safe space is her crate, especially when visitors stop by. !Is Hazelnut in Your Future?

Hazelnut’s adoption fee is $500. She is HW negative, current on all vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Hazelnut a second chance.
