Gromit—A Gentleman in Training!

Gromit’s Ideal Home:

• Family with kids and another fur-bling—Gromit takes his cues from other dogs and loves to play!

• Someone willing to continue his training, particularly leash-walking.

• Family with time to provide Gromit with some exercise and lots of affection!

• Patience for building Gromit’s sense of security with new places and people.

What’s Special About Gromit:

Gromit truly is a gentleman-in-training!  This labradoodle is gentle, very affectionate, and really wants to please his people.  He shadows his foster family but isn’t intrusive about wanting attention.  Gromit is hesitant in new situations or around new people but adapts quickly with reassurance.  He observes the other dogs in his foster home and has learned to follow the rules from them.  He was inexperienced with being on leash and gets excited to go new places, so he still pulls.  But after just one trip, Gromit learned that wearing a leash to ride in the truck means a romp at the acreage—and he now heads straight for the truck!  Because of his size, he may knock down littles, so yours should be steady on their feet.  He loves playing in the yard and is the first one out—and the first to come back in!  He settles quickly with a “sit” or “stay,” and has excellent recall.  Is Gromit the gentle-doodle for you?

Gromit's adoption fee is $600. He is HW negative, current on all HW/flea preventatives and vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Gromit a second chance.
