• Abel will thrive in a home committed to continued training and socialization. He’s eager to leave that stray life behind and is a willing student when treats are involved.

• He is very people-oriented and forms strong bonds with his humans. He is still working through some separation anxiety, so his ideal family should be prepared to help him gradually become more comfortable spending time on his own rather than expecting immediate independence.

• Abel enjoys the company of another chill dog who can boost his confidence and model routines.

Personality

• Abel is a total Velcro-doodle, happiest when closely supervising his family.

• He has high energy when outdoors and during playtime. He feeds off the energy of his playmates so calmer dogs are a better fit.

• He settles down nicely when it is time to come indoors.

• Did you say “car-ride”? Abel is ready to roll!

• He’s alert to noises or unfamiliar people and will bark when something suspicious occurs.

Abel’s adoption fee is $750.  He is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Abel a second chance.
