ROMIE

Ideal Home:

• Close, closer, closest—Romie is a stage-5 clinger. She'd really prefer a work-from-home supervisor position where she can just wait by the door and rest while her human does their thing.

• She matches energy—sleeping peacefully while you work, but ready to play when the family gathers back at home at the end of the day.

• She is adamantly opposed to crates and confinement but is a perfect angel left free in the house with another dog for a few (3-4) hours.

• Romie does need some time to decompress, as she exhibited resource guarding behaviors early on. She has since gotten past that but would likely do best with another dog that is submissive.

• Sometimes her hugs can be a little much for smaller humans, so kiddos 8+ would be best.

Personality:

• Romie is an absolute love bug. She's obsessed with snuggles, likes to give hugs, and will relax all day by your side. She loves her people.  She is potty-trained, sleep-trained, and respects boundaries.

• She loves to be a lap dog and will always provide a pick me up when you’re having a tough day.

• Romie is the ultimate TV-watching partner in crime but is also happy to get up and go on a walk and show off her great leash behaviors.

• She loves to play in the afternoon and does the cutest bunny hops across the yard.

• She doesn't chew any toys or shoes or get into things she's not allowed into

Is Romie a Fit for You
Romie’s adoption fee is $650.  She is current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, HW negative, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Romie a second chance.
