NUTTY BUDDY

Personality:

• He has medium energy with short bursts of activity and longer bouts of calm. He will chase across the yard to tree a squirrel & try to climb/jump the tree for a few minutes but then give up and lay down.

• He is a gentle giant who just wants to be with his people. He is happy & affectionate.

• While he is a big dog, he is very gentle when interacting with people.

• He is playful & likes to "hide" & have people "chase" him. Due to his lack of ambition, he is easy to find or catch.

• He is a big boy & is still learning leash manners but rides well in the car. He does fine in the home, although he can clear a coffee table with his tail.

Ideal Home:

• Nutty Buddy is outdoorsy, enjoying big yard zoomies, fetch, and sunbathing.

• Daily physical activity is essential to his happiness.

• Buddy has separation anxiety and will need an anxiety crate (48”) until he is fully decompressed and settle into his forever home.

• Buddy has benefited from working with one of our training partners. He is only adoptable in the DFW area so our trainer can provide transition support. He is easy to train and work with. He is very receptive & quick to learn verbal cues/corrections.

• He is fine with other large dogs but needs time to fully trust/interact with them. He has a rowdy play-style. He will make sure he doesn’t miss out on any affection or attention if you’re loving on another pup.

Are You a Good Fit for Buddy?

Nutty Buddy’s adoption fee is $750. He is HW negative, current on all vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Nutty Buddy a second chance.
