My Doodle Story
MILO 2
Milo2’s Ideal Home:
If you’ve been following our page, you know Milo’s story–how he arrived with a genetic birth defect that affected his hips and caused some muscular atrophy, how he has been an absolute trooper through corrective surgeries, rehab, therapy, and orthotic braces. How he is the sweetest, most amazing soul who inspires everyone around him and draws people to him.
He will continue to need new orthotics annually, checkups, joint supplements, and possible physical therapy in the future. His adopters must be committed to continuing Milo’s best life.
Milo enjoys pup-pals who are close to his size and willing to engage in play with him without being too rowdy.
He adores his people and has a special bond with children. He absolutely lights up when he sees kids. Older kids who are mindful of his mobility limitations and care would be a good fit. He connects at a soul level with everyone he meets and is looking for his fur-ever family.
He has allergies to all chicken-based products so lamb/beef or fish kibble is on his menu.
He will thrive in a calm, supportive environment where his unique needs and wonderful personality are treasured.
Personality:
Milo is beyond special! He has a sweet, patient heart. Despite (or maybe “because of”) his challenges, he is patient, persistent, and resilient. He is now living his very best life!
Milo is truly perfect. He has excellent manners and is crate-trained and potty-trained. He is the best companion. He needs a little time to warm up to men, but he quickly becomes fast friends once he feels comfortable.
His favorite things include playing tug-of-war, cuddling on the couch, smiling, holding hands, and playing with his foster sister.
He’s laidback for the most part but does get excited about going outside since that is where the fun happens.
Milo is affectionate, gentle, and incredibly special. He overflows with love and will make a terrific lifelong companion.
Are You the Best Part of Milo’s Story?
Milo2’s adoption fee is $650. He is heartworm negative, current on all vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Milo2 a second chance.
