Are you a Brad Pitt or Britney Spears fan? You know the type, good-looking, playful, fun and fun-loving, but a bit of a challenge and definitely needs boundaries. Are you a savvy dog owner who knows your way around the block? Then have we got the pup for you!

Not just a pretty face, Marley is absolutely the sweetest dood ever. He loves kids and adores playing and cuddling. He will play with toys, with his people, or even by himself. He takes cues from his family and knows how to calm down when playtime is over. He is uber-enthusiastic about walks, tugging you along if you don’t stay in charge. And that’s the big caveat with Marley, he HAS to have a strong leader who will reinforce his training and commands while giving positive attention and affection. Marley is highly intelligent. While he wants to please you, he also wants to please himself. Sometimes he has a mind of his own—he will need redirection and firm boundaries when that occurs. He also needs human company on a frequent and consistent basis because idle paws lead to mischief.

Like other mega-stars, Marley doesn’t want to share top billing. While he does fine with other resident dogs around his size, he does not welcome unknown pups. He is especially reactive to other dogs outside his fenced yard. He is determined to keep interlopers off his turf and out of his neighborhood. Marley would enjoy a country home where he can run and play inside a secure boundary.

Marley is a board and train graduate. There is a slow adoption process required for Marley to support his successful transition. For that reason, his adopters must live in the DFW area and be willing to work with our trainer as part of the adoption process.

Marley’s adoption fee is $500. He is HW negative, current on all HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Marley a second chance.
