My Doodle Story
Oh, sweet Mags–Maggie! There’s so much about “Maggie” that’s “just right”! She isn’t too big or too small–she’s just right! She’s just the right size and temperament for lots of love and snuggles. She is curious but cautious about new experiences and sounds. She’s happy in her crate but could easily be left out when you have to go away for a bit. She enjoys puzzles and training and is able to expend her energy without too much activity. She does need a yard or space for daily zoomies, though. She’s smart and easily trainable without being too mischievous. She’s completely adorable and now she’s looking for her “just right” home.
Maggie would do best in a home where she has consistent structure and where she isn’t allowed to “rule the roost” (which she would happily do). She would do well with either an older, established dog to show her the ropes or as an only-pup with an experienced owner who will help build her confidence and socialization skills. She’s not quite ready for the primetime of patios, dog-parks, or play-care just yet. She will need a patient tutor to prepare her for the unknowns in her new life. In return, she will shower you with all the love and affection in her doodle heart.
Mags-Maggie’s adoption fee is $600. She is HW negative, current on all HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Maggie a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and are within a 5-hour radius of the foster’s location, please click on one of the Adoption Application buttons on this page and select MAGS-MAGGIE from the drop-down menu on the application form.
