Best-Fit Home:

• Bear loves car-rides, fetch (or really, “catch and chase”), and a predictable routine. School pick-up time is his “happy hour”.

• Bear’s foster home has children over 8, and he does well with them, although he does jump when meeting new people.

• Bear has good recall and follows basic commands. While he loves walks, he needs to continue leash-training as he gets excited to meet new canine and human friends when he’s out in the neighborhood. He has not lived with other dogs at his foster home.

• He is trustworthy and is allowed to roam freely when left home. His favorite spot is to stretch out on the couch or a rug.

• He needs daily opportunities to exercise and feel the wind in his hair. He has the funniest zoomies!

Personality:

• Bear has a puppy demeanor and playfulness.

• His coat is both beautiful and soft–the kind you just want to sink your fingers into. Which is fine with Bear because he loves the attention and affection!

• He is very expressive and knows how to get your attention when he needs or wants something.

• He loves a slow morning! This dood has figured out that cuddles, back rubs, and stretches are the best way to wake up. Once he’s awake, though, he’s ready to go!

• He’s very food-driven and will be your shadow (mostly because he loves you, but also just in case you drop some snacks).

• After a good romp session, Bear is happy to find a sun-puddle in which to soak up some rays.

• In true doodle form, Bear does have allergies that are being successfully treated with a shot from the vet. He would need to continue the shots.

Best Bear’s adoption fee is $600. He is heartworm negative, current on all vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Best Bear a second chance.
