Meet Lydia, she’s an 8 month-old Australian Shepard mix and weighs 35 pounds. She’s a wonderful puppy full of love for her humans and everyone she meets. Lydia loves other dogs and always enjoys playing. She has lots of energy and would do well with an active family. Lydia is crate trained. She is mostly leash and house trained as well, but will appreciate some consistency and continued training to secure these manners. She knows sit and is working on stay. This sweet girl is a blank slate and will be a wonderful pet with continued training. She’s a pleaser and wants to be the best dog. She doesn’t let her previous neglect impact her ability to connect and trust.
Lydia is also good with children. This girl doesn’t shed either but will require brushing/grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable. She’d do extremely well with a family who has the time to invest in her. She hasn’t been around cats, but a sibling/playmate who shares her enthusiasm would be wonderful for Lydia. Her foster mom calls her a “best day ever dog,” because Lydia wakes up with all the good mood energy each and every day! This young ray of sunshine is looking to brighten your day and warm your heart fur-ever!
Her adoption fee is $600 plus sales tax and she’s HW-, current on all HW/Flea preventatives, microchipped, and spayed. All adoption fees go towards expenses like medical and food for Doodle Dandy Dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Lydia a second chance.
