Extra! Extra! PLEASE READ ALL ABOUT handsome Ollie BEFORE APPLYING.
Ollie is 2-4 years old and 89 pounds of labradoodle lovin’. This big guy loves to stretch out his long body and be lazy around the house. He’s got a sweet demeanor and is a smartie too. He’s very treat motivated and already knows sit, down, shake, stay, place, quick…and his favorite, high five. With more training, who knows the wonderful commands and tricks this guy could do! Ollie LOVES booty scratches. He loves them so much he’ll snuggle up and lean his big ole self against you to express his appreciation. The (literal) weight of his love makes him less suitable for small children.
Ollie forms bonds quickly and will want to be around his humans as much as possible. He is crate trained, but doesn’t like to be left in it when home alone, and he prefers to not be left alone often. Ollie is looking specifically for an owner that is patient, yet confident. A home that has experience with dog training, and a commitment to continue with it will be a necessity. A daily medication has helped Ollie make significant progress managing his anxieties. Yet, he will require patience with new introductions to other animals, as he becomes fearfully reactive, especially on leash, which requires physical strength due to his size. Otherwise, he walks very politely. Ollie has minimal shedding. This big sweetie cannot wait to find his fur-ever home!
His adoption fee is $600 plus sales tax and he’s HW-, current on all HW/Flea preventatives, microchipped, and neutered. All adoption fees go towards expenses like medical and food for Doodle Dandy Dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Ollie a second chance.
