All About Sugar Ray
Everybody say “hey” to Sugar Ray!
Behind these hazel eyes is a heart of gold!
“A dream dog,” according to his foster family. This handsome 75-pound Labradoodle is 2.5 years old and very well behaved. He is crate and potty-trained, and does well on leash until he sees a squirrel. Sugar Ray enjoys a couple of nice walks daily, but is going to require a very strong hold and further training on leash to control the instinct to chase those pesky guys. He appreciates plenty of fetch and equal amounts of belly rubs and snuggle time. He follows basic commands very well and has further training potential as he is a smart dood.Sugar Ray has an easy going spirit and gets along well with everyone, including children. Although, he hasn’t had exposure to cats and prefers to be the only dog in the home.
His perfect family will be active and affectionate. One who doesn’t mind a little blonde hair on the furniture, as his locks do shed and he really desires to be next to his people. However, he loves to be brushed and that helps a lot. Fur-ever after with Sugar Ray is sure to be dood-perfect!Sugar Ray’s adoption fee is $600 and he’s HW negative, current on all HW/Flea preventatives, microchipped and neutered. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical and food for Doodle Dandy Dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Sugar Ray a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and you are within a 5-hour radius of the DFW area please click on one of the Adoption Application buttons on this page and select Sugar Ray from the drop-down menu on the application form.
