A Little More About ...
Rooster wants to be a part of your family. This dood isn’t a top gun pilot but instead a calm, easy going pooch who is very eager to please. He is mild mannered. Therefore, gentle introductions are required; give him time to meet everyone and he will love you all. Rooster is best when the whole family participates in his care, and he will share his love in return. Rooster will enjoy a walk with you but is also happy to chillax at home and keep an eye on things. He is a very cool, laid back dood!
While Rooster is happy in his crate when you go out, don’t leave him for too long. He is house trained, yet is still learning how to communicate his needs. Currently, scheduled potty breaks are maintaining great success. A yard is a bonus for sure, but it doesn’t have to be too large as Rooster mostly likes to survey rather than roustabout. Other calm pups of similar size and personality would be fine, but likely Rooster will need time to adjust. School aged children who want a cuddle pet are right up Roosters alley. If you are a chilled family looking for a chilled pup, Rooster is the one for you.
Rooster’s adoption fee is $500 and he’s HW negative, current on all HW/Flea preventatives, microchipped and neutered. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical and food for Doodle Dandy Dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Rooster a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and you are within a 5-hour radius of the DFW area please click on one of the Adoption Application buttons on this page and select Rooster from the drop-down menu on the application form.
