A Little More About ...
Hi! I’m Melvin—a big and easy-going dood. My foster mom says I’m a laid-back guy, and I agree…I do like to lie on my back, especially when there’s a belly rub involved. I also love to take naps with my furry foster siblings, but my favorite is to pick out the smallest bed and settle in, because if I fits I sits!
I’m pretty chill and get along with dogs of all sizes and older kids. Sometimes I forget how big I am and I would feel terrible if I accidentally knocked over a little one. I’m working on my leash skills. Foster mom says I’m a good boy and I’m learning fast. It’s just hard to remember not to pull sometimes when I get soooo excited. I hope my new family will have the patience to help me with that.
I would appreciate a yard because fetch is my favorite. I would also like someone(s) home often, as I love my people! Attention is the best; I even enjoy a bath and spa day.
If you enjoy short walks with a leash, long naps on the couch, and a game of fetch at sunset—pick me, I’m your dood!
Melvin’s fee is $600 and he is HW negative, current on all HW/Flea preventatives, microchipped and neutered. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical and food for Doodle Dandy Dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Melvin a second chance. If you are within a 5-hour radius of the DFW area and would like to adopt Melvin, please fill out his adoption application.
