All About Kari
Sweet Kari is waiting for her furever family. This 25-pound, 10 year-old non-shedding Doodle mix is ready to find a quiet home to spend the sunset years of her life. Kari is a sweet, gentle lady who loves cuddles and affection. In fact, her favorite place in the whole world is snuggled on a lap.
Kari’s furever family is one that is compassionate and prepared to navigate the realities and opportunities of loving an aging dog. She’s quiet and tends to sleep quite a bit. She is house-broken, leash-trained and good with both people and other animals, including cats. She is gentle in spirit, but has not been tested with children. She loves to go on short walks but she does tire easily.
Kari is deaf and she struggles to see well at night, so a good routine at home is important. Kari’s people will also need to be willing to support her specific dietary and medical needs. Kari eats only wet and canned dog food. She also gets old age tumors and will need regular vet checks to keep those under control. Finally, Kari is prone to ear infections that are easily controlled with regular cleaning.Sweet Kari deserves the best rest of her life. Her furever family will be blessed with a home full of love and gratitude from the loyal heart of this precious senior girl.
The adoption fee for Kari is $350 + sales tax. She is heart worm negative, current on all shots, heart worm/flea preventatives, microchipped and spayed.
