A Little More About ...

Joey

How you doin’? My name is Joey and I’m a 15 week old male Sheepdoodle weighing in at 22 lbs! They anticipate I will grow to be about 65 lbs as an adult. I have a gorgeous non-shedding coat and I’m super smart. I pick up training quickly and really enjoy learning new things. I’m brave, energetic, playful and independent. I balance my days by alternating between brief sessions of training/play/belly rubs and back scratches, followed by long naps. I love water! I like to play in my water bowl and run around in the rain. I’m crate trained, know to sit, lie down and watch me, and am learning how to walk on a leash. I’m doing awesome at potty training but will need a little fine tuning adjusting to my new home.

My ideal home would have an experienced dog owner who can train me, provide me access to daily activity and allow me to hang out with you on your furniture. Because I am a puppy and I need some training on bite inhibition, I would do best in a home with no children under the age of 6. I will do well as an only dog or with a dog with a similar high energy level.

Joey’s adoption fee is $1000 and he’s current on all HW/Flea preventatives and vaccines. Remaining vaccinations, microchip and neuter will be agreed upon in contract and covered by a partnering DDR vet at the appropriate time. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical and food for Doodle Dandy Dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Joey a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and you are within a 5-hour radius of the DFW area please go to http://doodledandyrescue.org.
